GENERAL MANAGER

In order to further develop our business we are seeking a General Manager to lead, support and manage our chain of nurseries, through the nursery managers.

Previous nursery management experience and knowledge of Care Commission and HMI policies and procedures is essential. Professionally qualified in Childcare together with a knowledge and practical understanding on the 3 – 5 years curriculum, curriculum for excellence and birth to three is required.

As we are committed to the highest levels in childcare and education, the General Manager will be required to further enhance and develop our standards in line with our parent’s expectations.

PRE-SCHOOL ROOM SUPERVISOR
Lasswade (15 minutes from city centre)

• Applicants must hold an NNEB/ HNC /SVQ3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• They must also knowledge of delivering the 3-5 curriculum. Experience of managing a team is desirable.

Duties will include:
• Leading and managing the Pre-School team in planning and implementing an appropriately balanced 3-5 curriculum,
• Working with the teacher to implement the curriculum
• Forward planning.
• To co-ordinate and work with the Pre-School team to observe, record and assess the needs of individual children
• To co-ordinate the Pre-School team so that all staff can work effectively to plan and organise children’s learning and appropriate learning experiences
