Qualifications: HNC in childcare, First aid for childcarers.

Personal History: When we opened our first nursery at Lasswade over 20 years ago, I loved working in the Pre-School room. I am HNC qualified in child care and education and put this to great use in my hands-on role in the early days. 

As the company expanded I took a leadership and operational role; I feel it is important to give ownership to the nursery managers but I am always available to support the nurseries and management team. Our wonderful team is our asset and with the Investors in people accreditation for 18 years now this has given as a fantastic foundation to support our employees to learn and develop and encourage sharing good practice between the nurseries.  My main areas are: Maintenance and improvement issues and lead the implementation of goals and plans for maintaining standards. We are always looking at feedback from our parent surveys and parent forums on how to improve the service and love when we can implement new ideas.

Hobbies: I’m passionate about playing tennis and enjoy spending time with friends and family.
