The building was a childcare setting since we acquired it in 2003, it’s was purpose built as a nursery with three play room age areas and a large kitchen. We are situated within the beautiful campus of Heriot Watt University in Riccarton.

The children benefit from car free walking zones around the university campus and a walk to feed the ducks is one of the children's favourites. We have woodland areas next to the nursery, where the older children can enjoy Forest play. 

We are on the following Lothian bus routes- 25 and 34. We are also a 5 minute walk from the Hermiston Gait Park and Ride where you can get the following buses-X40 and 40. We are less than 1 mile from Currie Primary school. 

The nursery has always aiming to achieve the highest possible grades from Care inspectorate and we received all good’s in our last inspection in May 2018, which we credit to our fantastic team.

We offer outstanding childcare for children aged from 0 to 5 years, with 55 registered childcare places. We are open 7.30am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
