Welcome to Lasswade

Our first nursery that opened in 1997. The conversion from church hall to a children’s nursery set in a beautiful, stone building which has been transformed into a modern childcare setting. The nursery enjoys an elevated position next to the river Esk, with a riverside walk and the children love to look for wildlife and birds from the safety of their play areas. 

The nursery is situated within the village of Lasswade, opposite the Papermill restaurant and around the corner from the Laird and Dog restaurant. We are a 2 minute walk from the following Lothian bus routes-31 and 40. It’s a great position for anyone using the City by pass Lasswade junction motorway, going through the village of Lasswade and parents can use the local Lasswade Park for safe and convenient parking. 

We are less than 1 mile from Lasswade and St.Mary’s local primary schools. The nursery has always aiming to achieve the highest possible grades from Care inspectorate and we received all good’s in our last inspection in December 2017, which we credit to our fantastic team.

We offer outstanding childcare for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, with 67 registered childcare places. We are open 7.00am – 6pm, Monday to Friday.
